What to know: Is it the NBA Finals that anyone anticipated? Probably not, at least when it comes to the Eastern Conference. The Thunder finished the regular season with the best record in the league and compiled a 12-4 record in the West playoffs, with three of those losses coming at the hands of Denver. As for Indy, it entered the East playoffs as the No. 4 seed but didn’t play like it, also going 12-4 through three series to make it to the Finals. Now it is guaranteed that one team will win its first NBA title.

The Finals have been nothing short of exciting, as the series is all tied up at 2-2. The league’s MVP, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, is averaging a career-postseason-high 30.4 points per game, along with 5.6 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game. Meanwhile, Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton is averaging 18.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 9.6 assists per game this postseason. OKC is outscoring Indiana by 3.3 points per game, while the Pacers are outshooting the Thunder by 1.4%. After a back-and-forth first four matchups, a best-of-three will decide the NBA title.
