Well, the time between the Finals ending, the NBA Draft, and the beginning of free agency has brought on a lot of change.
Let’s go through some of the movements:
- The Nuggets jumped from +1800 to +1100 after a trade that sent Michael Porter Jr. and a first-round pick to Brooklyn for Cam Thomas.
- The Celtics dropped from +1800 to +3500 after trading both Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porziņģis.
- The Mavericks jumped from +4500 to +3000 after drafting Cooper Flagg with the first pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.
- The Spurs dropped from +2200 to +4500 after drafting Dylan Harper and Carter Bryant in the first round of the 2025 NBA Draft.
- The Hawks jumped from +10000 to +5500 after trading for Porzingis, and signing Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Luke Kennard in free agency.
- The Pacers dropped from +1800 to +8000 after Tyrese Haliburton was diagnosed with a torn Achilles, suffered in Game 7 of the NBA Finals.
- The Heat dropped from +7500 to +25000, the Kings dropped from +20000 to +50000, and the Nets dropped from +30000 to +80000.
